Ellie Stopard of Celt Experience is presented with the Beer of the Festival Award by festival chairman Chris Radford
Members of Swansea and Neath Port Talbot Campaign for Real Ale celebrated the success of this year’s record-breaking beer and cider festival with a gathering at the No Sign Wine Bar, Wind Street, Swansea, on October 13.
During the evening, the award for Beer of the Festival was presented to Ellie Stopard of Celt Experience Brewery, Caerphilly, by festival chairman Chris Radford.
The winning beer was 614 Années, an 8.5% chocolate rye porter with an amazing kick.
During the party, members enjoyed beer straight from the cask and a splendid buffet put on by the No Sign staff.
“Becky and her staff did a superb job – the quantity and quality of the food provided for the buffet was outstanding and beat all attempts to finish it! Her efforts and the way she helped us with the party are much appreciated,” said Chris Radford.
