Fringe Programme
All events take place in Committee Room 6 (behind George Hall)
A series of talks and tastings from renowned characters on the Welsh brewing and cider scene. A small charge will be made for tickets to cover costs – payable in drinks tokens. Tickets can be obtained from the “Tokens” desk in the Main Hall. Do turn up on time as unclaimed spaces, or any remaining, will be sold on the door.

3 pm Meet the Brewer – Celt Experience
With the new core Celt range nearly ready for launch, here’s a sneak preview of what’s been on the trial kit, among other things, with some tasty food matching. Celt owner, Tom Newman, is Wales’ first accredited beer sommelier and a director of the Association of Welsh Brewers.
5pm Cider and Cheese Tasting
James ‘Arfur’ Daley writes a weekly column on beers and ciders for the South Wales Echo as well as working for the multi-award-winning Gwatkin Cider of Abbey Dore in Herefordshire. He also makes cider and perry at Llanblethian Orchards near Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan, the current winners of the CAMRA Champion Cider of Wales.
Saturday
3 pm Meet the Brewer – Tiny Rebel
The Tiny Rebel brewery in Newport have taken the Welsh brewing scene by storm over the last three years. They have taken the Champion Beer of Wales gong at the Great Welsh festival, not to mention many category prizes, for the last two years running. Brad & Gareth will bring you up to date, with some tasters to whet your appetite.
